It's hard not to notice the snakeskin pattern trend dominating the fashion world right now, along with denim, and sherpa. These trends are so popular that it's almost impossible not to have some of the hottest pieces in your closet right now. Sherpa is one of the biggest trends this year (although in my opinion snake print is giving it a run for it's money). Everywhere you look someone is wearing sherpa so I wanted to talk about some of my favourite ways to wear it
Almost everywhere I go, I see someone in a teddy coat. This is for sure the most popular way to wear sherpa this winter. You can buy them literally anywhere. Mine is from Garage (it also comes in red and black, and they have a cropped version as well)
Another cute way to wear this trend is a jacket with Sherpa detailing.
This denim jacket is from Levi’s is a great option, but there are so many other places that sell these denim jackets for a lower price. I love pairing this jacket with a white knit sweater and leggings, or with jeans (we love a Canadian tuxedo). Here, I have mine styled with a graphic tee from Cottage Country Music, layered with a red flannel, with leggings, combat boots, and a red pom hat.
This second jacket is from Urban Outfitters and I’m in love with the sherpa detailing around the sleeves and the trim. I have this jacket and other similar options linked!
I’m also loving sherpa hoodies, they are arguably the most comfortable hoodie in the world. I got this one from the H&M men's section, and it’s so oversized that it's technically a sherpa sweater dress. Here, I paired it with my over-the-knee boots from Aldo. I couldn't find the exact sweater online but I've linked a very similar one.
I have also linked other super cute ways to wear sherpa as an accessory!
I think this sherpa scrunchie is the cutest thing to match your teddy coat with! Garage carries them in beige and black.
this might be the coziest scarf in the world.
I'm laughing because this is called a snood, but it's actually genius.
and lastly, can I even talk about sherpa accessories without adding mittens to the list?
long live the sherpa trend,
xo,
Jess
