My November Favourites

Since November is over already, I thought I would write a post all about my November favourites.
The first thing I want to talk about is how much I’ve been loving cowboy style boots!
Specifically my red pair of western ankle booties, from Matisse. I searched high and low for these boots once I figured out that dsw.com doesn’t ship to Canada :)))). They’re the perfect everyday cowboy booties to add a little bit of western chic to your look.

Another pair of shoes I’ve been loving are my combat boots. I've worn these almost every day.

While we're on the topic of western style, I’ve also been loving this belt, I’ve been adding a lot of western details into my style and this is the perfect accessory. Jordan added some extra holes so I could wear it around my waist as well as my hips, and I’ve been wearing this with dresses, skirts, and jeans!

Next, I've been obsessed with this wool scarf from Wilfred. It's the perfect accessory to throw over any outfit, it matches everything!

Some products I’ve been loving are my liquid lipsticks from Kylie Cosmetics. Since her products are USD they get pretty pricey if you’re ordering to Canada, so I get them when they go on sale. One of her more recent sales was buy one get one free so I ordered several different colours. My favourite this month has been Ginger. Its such a pretty brown/orange colour, which was perfect for fall!

I’ve also been loving my 1 minute hair repair by Garnier. I’ve talked about this product before, but now that we’re getting into the cooler months, my hair has been unreasonably dry. I use this as a leave in treatment, and it revives my hair just like magic.

I don't know if these next few things count towards November favourites, but I take photos almost every day for instagram, and I post daily. So I thought I'd add in my favourite locations/poses from this month.
I never really noticed that I use similar poses until I started writing this postand realized this month my go to is a candid walk. It took me a bit of practice to get it so it didn't look forced. A trick I've figured out is instead of walking through the frame, either rock back and forth, or take a few steps forwards and backwards, so you get the motion!
Its probably super obvious, but my favourite location for November is (super safe and not at all posed) in the middle of the road on a yellow line. But my second favourite was from a recent shoot in Newmarket at the Christmas tree display outside of Upper Canada.

Lastly, my favourite spot this month is the Flying Monkey Brewery in Barrie. Jordan and I went at the beginning of the month, and had such a good time that we went back to celebrate his 23rd birthday. It’s got such a cool vibe and great atmosphere. The interior is decorated in such a cool way, it’s full of Christmas and neon lights, and the roof is covered in band posters. They have hanging lights over the tables, and signs all over the walls. Their nachos are 10/10 and even though I don’t really drink, their beers are also 10/10. Everyone that works there is super friendly, and they usually have live entertainment.

xo,
Jess
